Chris Gayle on Saturday became the first cricketer in Indian Premier League history to smash 300 sixes in the tournament.Gayle is already the leading six-hitter in the IPL and needed just two more to reach 300 sixes before KXIP's first home game against Mumbai Indians at the IS Bindra stadium in Mohali.Before the start of this game, Gayle had scored 4093 runs from 114 matches at an average of 41.34 with six hundreds and 25 half-centuries.
