The Maharashtra irrigation scam report has been submitted to the state Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. The Chitale committee looked into 19 irrigation projects.

Sources say the report does not name or indict any individual politician. The Chitale committee had no powers to summon any officials or politicians for questioning either.

The report also makes suggestions for projects to be undertaken in the future.
