It is Republic Day today and India gears to celebrate the anniversary of the day its Constitution came into effect after Independence. The Republic Day parade in the city will see the display of colourful tableaux by state government departments and schools. The attractive tableaux will showcase state's cultural heritage, government welfare schemes, replicas of historical monuments and development of the city among other features.
