The family of the Indian dentist who died because of an alleged denial of abortion at an Irish hospital wants justice. The Indian government has assured that it will pursue the matter with Ireland. The Ministry of External Affairs has said though it is waiting for the outcome of two inquiries that have been ordered in Ireland. Its envoy in Dublin will take up Savita Halappanavar's death with Irish authorities based on the information given by her family, a clear indication that the Indian government wants to see justice done in this case.
