A Russian woman approached police on Sunday and alleged that five people, from Majnu Ka Tila in north Delhi, sexually assaulted her, but she later refused to pursue the case further, police said. The girl, who came to Delhi from Moscow in February on a tourist visa lives in a rented accommodation at Majnu Ka Tila with her husband who is also Russian. On Sunday morning at around 8:15 am she made a call to a Police Control Room (PCR) that she was sexually assaulted by a few people from the locality. Police reached the spot and took the woman to the Civil Lines police station. When she saw mediapersons at the police station, she tried to flee from there, but the woman constables managed to keep her in the police station.
