The BJP high command has a fresh headache to deal with. Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has floated a new party called Kannada Makkala Paks through businessman Ashok Kheny. NewsX learns from sources that the idea is to keep an option open in case Yeddyurappa wishes to walk out of the BJP and form a KMP government with the help of loyalist MLAs. The BJP brass is working on an alternative to regain the numbers in case Yeddyurappa breaks away from the party with a major chunk of MLAs. One possibility is by seeking the support of Janata Dal (S). But many believe that Yeddyurappa's move is nothing more than shadow boxing because it may not be smooth sailing for him if he gets out of the BJP.
