Two Koreas to propose unified teams for 2020 Tokyo Olympics

The two Koreas will announce which sports they will compete in as a joint team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics this afternoon.
South Korean Sports Minister Do Jong-hwan and his North Korean counterpart Kim Il-guk will meet with the chief of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, to discuss forming unified teams for the 2020 Olympics.
In their previous bilateral meetings, the top sports officials of South and North Korea had agreed to to try and form joint teams for rowing, judo, women's basketball and women's hockey.
The Korean officials are also expected to submit their bid to jointly host the 2032 Summer Olympics at the Friday's meeting with Bach.
