Pacer Mohammad Shami became the fastest Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in One Day International. After winning the opening match against New Zealand in Napier by 8 wickets, “It has been a long journey, especially when I played World Cup. It took me 2 yrs to recover from injury. After long process, I gained confidence and performed better. I'll continue to perform this way”, said Shami during a press conference in New Zealand’s Napier. Shami surpassed the record of Irfan Pathan, who took 100 ODI wickets in 59 matches.
