बारहा वर्ष में चार स्थानों पर कुंभ का आयोजन होता है। कुम्भ,अर्ध कुम्भ और सिंहस्थ का हिंदू धर्म में बहुत महत्व होता है। उज्जैन, हरिद्वार, प्रयागराज, फिर नासिक में कुंभ मेले का आयोजन होता है। जिसमे उज्जैन के कुंभ को सिंहस्थ कहा जाता है। नक्षत्रों, ग्रहों और राशियों के संयोग से इस कुम्भ यात्रा का योग 6 और 12 वर्षो में इन स्थानों पर बनता है। अर्ध कुम्भ का पर्व केवल, प्रयाग और हरिद्वार में ही मनाया जाता है। आइए जानते है कि कुंभ, अर्ध कुम्भ और सिंहस्थ क्या है?
