In a partial relief to the exiled CBI director Alok Verma, the Supreme Court today reinstated him as the chief of investigative agency but the SC clarified that Verma cannot take any major policy decisions. The SC meanwhile asked the selection committee to meet within a week over the allegations against Verma & take a final decision on the same. Verma can take full charge after committee's decision for now Alok Verma can take only routine decisions like filing FIRs.
