Deputy National Security Adviser Pushed out of White House Sarah Sanders said in a statement on Wednesday that Mira Ricardel is leaving her post at the White House. The press secretary said Ricardel will ""continue to support the president as she departs the White House to transition to a new role within the administration." Ricardel's depature comes after she clashed with first lady Melania Trump. Melaina told President Trump she was unhappy with her after fighting over seating on plane ride during her visit to Africa. Ricardel was picked by National Security Adviser John Bolton earlier this year.
