Views 0

Fired FBI Director James Comey will not have his testimony blocked by President Donald Trump when he testifies before the Senate Thursday, June 8. In order to facilitate a swift and thorough examination of the facts sought by the Senate Intelligence Committee, President Trump will not assert executive privilege regarding James Comey's scheduled testimony, said White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders. Comey is expected to be asked questions on the FBI's investigation into links between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as Russia's influence on the presidential election. It was later revealed by associates of Comey that the latter kept a secret memo detailing his conversations with Trump.
