The Williamson County Sheriff said a rescue operation was launched in Liberty Hill, Texas, in the early hours of September 22, after a number of people became trapped in floodwater.

The sheriff’s office said it responded to reports of up to 30 people becoming trapped while trying to flee rising waters.
