National Guard units braved flooded highways on Saturday, September 15, to deliver assistance to areas in North Carolina affected by Hurricane Florence.

A day after the storm made landfall and began inching westward, heavy rains caused catastrophic flooding. This video was shot on US117 crossing over Gosham Swamp near Calypso. The convoy was on its way to Lumberton, about 80 miles southwest. Credit: National Guard via Storyful
