School officials in Brunswick County, North Carolina, fired a bus driver on Monday, April 25, after after video emerged of her driving through a flooded road.

Bruce Felker, who took this video, said on Facebook the driver had gotten out of the bus and moved a barricade before driving across the flooded road. He told Storyful there were children on the bus at the time.

School officials said the actions of the driver, identified as Marsha Bellamy McMillian, were inexcusable and were thankful all the students on the bus arrived at South Brunswick High School safely, according to a report. McMillian had worked with the district as a driver and custodian since 2007.
