Civic groups from South and North Korea have agreed to host a joint event in late October at the North's Mount Kumgang,... in hopes of restarting tours at the site.
The South Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation said Sunday... that the event had been proposed last Tuesday by its North Korean counterpart.
The two sides will sort out the exact date and size of the event through an exchange of documents.
In the past, these events have included cultural performances and sports exchanges.
Though it's not clear yet what kind this one will be,... it will be the first time in ten years since 2008, these groups have put one on.
