A resident of Hilo, Hawaii, shared footage of flooded residential streets on Wednesday, August 22, as Hurricane Lane tracked towards the islands.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning and said eight inches of rain had fallen on Big Island over a 12-hour period to late August 22.
