Parts of Glacier National Park in Montana were evacuated on August 12, after lightening strikes resulted in a fire at Howe Ridge, above Lake McDonald in the park.
According to the park authorities the evacuation impacted about 50 individuals who own private homes, several NPS employees residing at the Lake McDonald Ranger Station, and campers at the 87-site Avalanche Creek Campground. Credit: Glacier National Park Service via Storyful
