Carr Fire Leaves Trail of Destruction Around Redding, California

The Carr Fire in California’s Shasta and Trinity counties had scorched more than 100,000 acres and was 23 percent contained late on July 30.

The fire has destroyed hundreds of homes and structures and prompted evacuations since it broke out on July 26.

Six people were reported dead.

This footage, from July 30, shows the widespread destruction around Redding, California.
