Saying “a bet is a bet,” the Brussels metro system treated commuters to Johny Hallyday’s Tous Ensemble, the official 2002 World Cup anthem of the French soccer team, on July 11, the day after Les Bleus beat Belgium to make it to the final in Moscow.

The STIB tweeted at a public-facing RATP account in Paris on July 9, suggesting that if Belgium won, the Saint-Lazare station be renamed Saint-Hazard.

Accepting the bet, the RATP account said that, in the event of a French victory, Johnny Hallyday’s song should be played. Credit: STIBMIVB via Storyful
