An ongoing Syrian government offensive in Daraa province has left the streets of Nawa, a town northeast of Daraa city, Syria, in rubble on June 30.

Pro-government news outlets reported airstrikes on opposition forces, whom they call “terrorists,” on June 27 and June 28.

This footage posted by a local news media group shows blocks of badly damaged buildings and rubble in the streets of Nawa.

The United Nations said the fighting had led more than 270,000 people to flee to the Jordanian and Israeli borders. Credit: Unified Media Office of the City of Nawa via Storyful
