Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the decision to end the alliance with People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir was for the benefit of the state. Adityanath said the move was taken after taking the state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ministers into confidence.

'ಜಮ್ಮು-ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ, ಪಿಡಿಪಿ(ಪೀಪಲ್ಸ್ ಡೆಮಾಕ್ರೆಟಿಕ್ ಪಕ್ಷ)ಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂಬಲ ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಯೋಗಿ ಆದಿತ್ಯನಾಥ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
