Ingredients for the filling:
Oil
1tsp Mustard Seeds
1 Cup Onion, chopped
1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
3 Green chilies, finely chopped
2tsp Coriander powder
2tsp Red chili powder
2tsp Garam masala
1tbsp Cumin powder
1 tbsp Sugar
Asafoetida
Salt to taste
2 Potatoes, boiled & mashed
2 tbsp Gram flour
Ingredients for kachori:
Dough
Dry flour
Filling
Oil
Method of preparation for the filling:
In a pan heat oil, mustard seeds, once it starts crackling add onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, sugar, asafoetida, salt.
Mix it well and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add potatoes, gram flour and our filling is ready.
Keep it aside to cool down.
Method of preparation for Kachori:
Take a small piece of dough, dip it in dry flour and roll it into a puri.
Do not roll it too thin.
Stuff the filling inside the puri, approx 1 tbsp.
Same way make other kachoris as well.
Fry the kachoris in hot oil until they turn golden brown.
