Fire crews battling a vegetation fire in Aliso Viejo, near Laguna Beach, California, on Saturday, June 2, received support from airplanes and helicopters that dropped retardant and water on the blaze.

This footage shows a plane spreading red retardant on the fire on Saturday.

Between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, June 3, the size of the fire dropped from around 250 acres to 150 acres, according to officials. As Sunday morning, the fire was 10 percent contained and around 300 homes remained under evacuation orders. Credit: Tony’s Take via Storyful
