Multiple roads were closed due to flooding in Asheville, North Carolina, on Wednesday, May 30. Three mobile home parks were evacuated, and the Red Cross set up shelters, the city said.

Evacuations were lifted around the Lake Tahoma dam Wednesday after officials determined the dam was safe following a mudslide, a news report said.
