President Trump on Monday responded to the resignations of two highly scrutinized FBI officials who were close associates to former FBI Director James Comey. "Lisa Page, who may hold the record for the most Emails in the shortest period of time (to her Lover, Peter S), and attorney Baker, are out at the FBI as part of the Probers getting caught? Why is Peter S still there? What a total mess," the president tweeted. "Our Country has to get back to Business!" According to the New York Times, James A. Baker and Lisa Page left the bureau on Friday. Baker served as one of the FBI's top lawyers and was accused of leaking the now famous Christopher Steele dossier to the press. The Times notes that "Page, advised Mr. Comey while serving directly under his deputy, Andrew G. McCabe." She was also, for a time, a member of Robert Mueller's team.
Page came under fire for messages she'd exchanged with FBI agent Peter Strzok.  A number of them were critical of President Trump and other key figures in the 2016 campaign, including Hillary Clinton.
