Honda S660 Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013 http://bit.ly/I7rlLY
Depending on how old you are, you might remember the Honda Beat back in 1991, well this car is it's spiritual successor. It is called the Honda S660 and as you can see it's a tiny, two-seater convertible sportscar.
Under the bonnet there's a 660cc three cylinder engine with just 60 horsepower, and that, along with its small dimensions means this car qualifies for the Japanese Kei car status.
It will go into production in Japan and it will go on sale in 2015. It could come to the UK as well, but if it does it will need a slightly more powerful engine, so a 1-litre three-cylinder with about 100bhp, turbocharged of course, is the most likely.
It is also said to be part of a three-car sportscar line up from Honda. We've got the NSX at the top of the range, this at the bottom and hopefully a mid-sized S2000 successor in the middle.
