Passing out parade of 3rd Batch of Special Security Unit – SSU Commandos was held at Naval Special Operations Training Centre - NSOTC Nathiagali, Karachi. 25 SSU Commandos were given tactical training by the Navy Seals Commandos of Pakistan Navy. Training included Air Assault, Bus Assault, Sniper Firing, Room Combat, Close Quarter Battle Repelling, Basic Swimming Skills, Weapons Handling and Physical Fitness.
Mr. Maqsood Ahmed, Commandant SSU graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the event. While delivering a speech he appreciated the untiring efforts made by the Navy Seals Commandos in imparting 8 weeks counter terrorism training to the SSU Commandos. He said that such trainings are continuously enhancing the capabilities of SSU Commandos to deal emergency situations. He hoped that such trainings will continue in future – 28.03.2018.
