South Korean military authorities will announce the schedules of the Seoul-Washington annual joint military drills, Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, in about an hour.
The drills were originally supposed to kick off in late February or early March,... but were postponed until after the PyeongChang Paralympics wrapped up... to encourage North Korea's participation in the Olympics and Paralympics.
As for now, it's known that the drills will start on April 1st.
But the drills could be shorter and smaller in scale than previous years... with less U.S. strategic assets involved... as Seoul hopes to continue the ongoing dialogue momentum with North Korea.
