Dog owners on Twitter want to see whether their canines are capable of carrying an egg in their mouths without breaking it, after a clip of a golden retriever successfully completing the task went viral.

The trend kicked off when Twitter user @Iaurdreyfuss shared a clip of her aunt testing out the theory on her golden retriever after she had read about it online.

The clip had been viewed over 9 million times and received over 670,000 likes at time of writing.
