Appam is most popular and favourite snack for breakfast. This is a special recipe of Rava or Semolina Appam recipe with Carrot and Beet.
This is very nutritious and healthy recipe for kids as Carrot and beet are very nutritious foods.
In this video we will see how to make appam instantly. An easy recipe of preparing tasty, yummy, soft and delicious appam recipe.
Ingredients:
1) A big cup of curd
2) One cup of finely chopped coriander
3) Two finely chopped green chilies
4) Two finely chopped onions
5) Three cups of semolina
6) Half cup of grated beet
7) One cup of grated carrot
8) Salt to taste
9) Cumin seeds
10) Baking soda
11) Ginger garlic paste
Steps:
1) Take two ladles of oil in a pan
2) Add half spoon cumin seeds and One spoon Ginger garlic paste
3) Stir it well
4) Add chopped onion and green chilies
5) Add grated carrot and grated beet
6) Add chopped coriander
7) Stir it well
8) Add salt for taste
9) Keep the lid for five minutes
10) Cook it properly
Steps to make Appam or Aappe:
1) Add curd in semolina
2) Mix it properly
3) Add one and a half cup of water
4) Mix it well
5) Add tempered carrot and beet mixture
6) Mix it well
7) Add salt for taste in the mixture
8) Add quarter spoon baking soda
9) After adding half cup water, mix it well
10) Keep the material for 15 to 20 minutes for proper mixing
11) Put Aappepatra on Gas
12) Add a layer of oil with help of spoon as oil layer helps easily remove aape
13) Fill the mixture of semolina one by one
14) Cook it for 5 to 10 minutes
15) Turn it after 10 minutes
16) Remove appe after 5 to 10 minutes
