Rayndays Rundown: First off, I really enjoy playing Odin. He is an in your face, visceral charer that makes me feel like I am always a part of the battle. His ultimate and his early game presence are two of the biggest fors to Odins strength in SMITE, so be sure to be aggressive early (if possible) and to grab at least one cooldown item (that being Jotunns or Breastplate of Valor) to really maximize your effectiveness and Crowd Control. The key to doing well with Odin, in my opinion, doesnt lie as much in your play, but in your teammates follow up. A heavy AOE and aggressive team, looking to engage, will have a field day with helpless Ras and Nezhas trapped in Odins ring. He has some incredible combos with Isis, Zeus, and Poseidon, which can literally END teamfights in less than 5 seconds. Now, to trap as many people as possible in that ultimate, BLINK is a must buy in my opinion. Odins jump is really too slow, and anyone with a dash or jump of their own will not be caught anywhere close to you when you land as an Odin player, knowing that they will have to be locked in the ring with you. The other benefit of blinking in, is that you give yourself more presence in the fight. Mages and Hunters will stay farther back when you walk forward, knowing a long range blink could be coming at any moment. This will help you space the enemy team and provide great utility in that bruiser role. Its important to pick targets that have no or limited escape options, and the more, the better. Again, with an aggressive team this will be GG. But if you find yourself in a tight spot, remember, now that you have blinked in, you can still jump out of your own ring and leave the enemies in it, giving you much needed escape time on those rare occasions your teammates leave you out to dry. All in all, Odin can be an extremely fun and annoying charer to play against, but expect to have games where you dominate and also ones where you are lackluster, simply due to the standard god rotation of your teammates that may have better AOE skills and teamfight ultimates (Zeus, poseidon, Zhong Kui etc.) than others. With this guide, hopefully you will be able to improve your Odin play and enjoy your time with him in Smite. Thanks for watching :)\r
