A storm surge flooded Boston’s Northern Avenue and Seaport Boulevard during a nor’easter that hammered the northeast on Thursday, January 4.
Boston firefighters had to rescue people from stranded vehicles, including near the New England Aquarium, a news report said.
Flooding was reported in coastal communities south of Boston during the storm as well. The nor’easter generated blizzard conditions with high winds and whiteout conditions in much of the northeast. Credit: Twitter/Bryan Healey via Storyful
