Heavy snow fell in Ohio and Pennsylvania along Lake Erie on Tuesday, December 26. A lake-effect snow band pushed through the region with whiteout conditions and a snowfall rate of one to two inches per hour, the National Weather Service said.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said up to an additional 16 inches of snow could fall and warned people of traffic conditions, asking them to stay off the roads.
