Russia labeled nine media outlets as "foreign agents" including Radio Free Europe and Voice of America. The move comes as a response to the U.S. Justice Department targeting RT and Sputnik network in September 2017. U.S. intelligence also accused Vladimir Putin of using Russian media to meddle in the presidential election last year.
