President Trump announced Monday that he's designating North Korea as a state sponsor of terror. Trump has been at odds with the country and its leader Kim Jong Un and called the measure a long overdue step. In addition to threatening the world by nuclear devastation, North Korea has repeatedly supported acts of international terrorism including assassinations on foreign soil.
