Coast Guard officers rescued three people after their vessel struck a barge in Bayou Segnette, Louisiana, on November 19.
According to The Advocate and The Times- Picayune, their boat was run aground after it hit the barge around 4 a.m., and a 26-year-old woman was killed when she was ejected from the boat. The rescued victims ranged in age from 23 to 34 and were taken by helicopter to hospital with injuries that ranged from minor to critical.
