According to documents available through RTI,Reserve Bank Of India does not seem to have any official records to prove that it had authorised the issue of new currency notes in denominations of Rs 2,000 and Rs 200, after demonetisation,. RTI activist M.S. Roy says, As per RTI replies provided by the RBI, the country's central bank has apparently not published any Government Resolution or a circular till date to issue the new Rs 2,000 and recently, the Rs 200 currency notes. देश के सबसे बड़े बैंक आरबीआई पर हुए खुलासे ने लोगों को चौंका दिया है। यह खुलासा आरटीआई के जरिए सामने आया है। आरटीआई में ये बात सामने आई है कि भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के पास यह प्रमाणित करने का कोई आधिकारिक दस्तावेज नहीं है कि नोटबंदी के बाद उसके पास 2,000 रुपये और 200 रुपये मूल्यवर्ग की नई मुद्रा जारी करने का अधिकार था। मुंबई के आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता एम.एस. रॉय के अनुसार आरबीआई द्वारा आरटीआई के तहत दिए गए जवाब में जाहिर तौर पर देश के केंद्रीय बैंक ने 200 रुपए और 2,000 रुपए के नोट जारी करने की तिथि तक कोई भी सरकारी प्रस्ताव या परिपत्र प्रकाशित नहीं किया था। पूरी जानकारी के लिए देखें ये वीडियो
