Vasundhara Raje is seen on the back foot on the Criminal Law Amendment Bill providing protection to the public servants. Vasundhara Raje has sent the bill to the Select Committee for reconsideration due to the opposition's opposition. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje had called on several of his ministers on Monday evening and asked him to think again on the bill, which he has been facing with considerable criticism. Under this bill, a judicial magistrate or a government servant can not be scrutinized without permission beforehand. In the midst of heavy protest on Monday, the Vasundhara Raje Government had introduced this disputed bill in the assembly.

वसुंधरा राजे लोकसेवकों को संरक्षण देने वाला क्रिमिनल लॉ संशोधन बिल पर बैकफुट पर नजर आ रही हैं। वसुंधरा राजे ने विपक्ष के भारी विरोध के चलते बिल को पुनर्विचार के लिए सेलेक्ट कमेटी को भेज ही दिया है। राजस्थान की मुख्यमंत्री वसुंधरा राजे ने सोमवार शाम को अपने कई मंत्रियों को घर बुलाया था और उनसे उस बिल पर दोबारा विचार करने को कहा था, जिसे लेकर उन्हें काफी आलोचनाएं झेलनी पड़ रही हैं। इस बिल के तहत किसी जज या मजिस्ट्रेट या किसी सरकारी कर्मचारी के खिलाफ पहले से इजाजत लिए बिना जांच नहीं की जा सकेगी। सोमवार को ही भारी विरोध के बीच में वसुंधरा राजे सरकार ने इस विवादित बिल को विधानसभा में पेश कर दिया था।
