According to Talat Ali Malik, the manager of the Pakistan team during the Champions Trophy has revealed that remarks of Shastri and Gavaskar fired up the team which beat India by big margin in the final.

पाकिस्तानी टीम के मैनेजर तलत अली मलिक ने खुलासा किया है कि टीम इंडिया की हार के पीछे सुनील गावस्कर और रवि शास्त्री का हाथ था। उन्होंने कहा है कि गावस्कर और रवि शास्त्री का बयान पाकिस्तानी टीम को सुनाया जिसकी वजह से उनके अंदर जीत का जज्बा आ गया।
