In this video we do a little reconnaissance work to find out where the hot spots are on a property that has had structures on it since pre-civil war days. It has been in the same family since then. The story goes that the family were Southern sympathizers and were forced off the property by Kansas who supported the North. Apparently they reaquired the property after the war was over. Additionally the owners tell us that Quantrills raiders set up camp just to the east of this property on the Missouri side to prepare for raids on the property. We are researching this to gain access to properties in this vicinity.\r

We are not certain there is any ual battle history on the property but we know it was occupied at least into the 40s and possibly into the 60s. We have located several old foundations on the property, a cellar, a large stacked rock wall, and the well. This is the first of many hunts we anticipate having on this property. This time we only found some makeup containers, pieces to a pocket watch, and a WWI solide bronze officers watch fob..along with a BUNCH of junk. Stay tuned for more finds.\r

We were using Garret AT Pros and a Garrett AT Gold as well as the crucial Garrett Pro Pointers.
