Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a scooter driver narrowly avoiding being run over by two lorries after he runs red light.

The CCTV video, captured in Shangrao city, Jiangxi Province on August 24, shows a scooter driver being knock down by a first lorry before his scooter is hit by another one.

As the lorry swerves, narrowly avoiding the man on the ground, its content starts pouring onto the road.

The man reportedly only suffered minor injuries.
