The National Supper Alliance (NASA) has released results indicating that Raila Amolo Odinga won the Presidential vote by 605,606 votes.
According to the NASA results generated during the NASA Tallying Centre, Raila Odinga garnered 8,452,134 votes as opposed to Uhuru Kenyatta who got 7,846,528 votes.
This figure represents 51.86 percent of the total votes cast. Consequently, this means that Raila Odinga was the duly elected 5th President of the Republic of Kenya.
The NASA Secretariat released the results after challenging results that had earlier been streamed by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (I.E.B.C). The results indicated that Uhuru Kenyatta was on the lead.
Although the stream was widely reported by the local media as the legitimate results, Wafula Chebukati, the I.E.B.C. Chairman, rejected them.
He said that they were unofficial and that the final results would be announced using form 34A and 34B signed by agents at polling stations and at constituency polling centres.
Mr. Chebukati did not explain how fake results were being streamed via the I.E.B.C. website. However, at a Press Conference held by Raila Odinga, NASA produced evidence indicating that the I.E.B.C. website had been hacked.
According to NASA someone had manipulated the results through computer generated figures that produced the fake results.
