The World Food Program confirmed its delivery of food and medical supplies to the opposition-held town of al-Houla in the northern Homs province on July 15. The aid convoy was coordinated with the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The two international aid organizations delivered approximately 35 trucks full of supplies for the largely besieged area straddling the Homs and Hama provinces.

Unconfirmed reports from SMART News Agency claim pro-regime forces fired on the convoy prior to its arrival without leading to any damages or injuries. Credit: YouTube/SMART News Agency via Storyful
