A huge fire broke out at a tyre dump in Sesena, Toledo province, sending thick plumes of smoke into the air on Friday morning.
The regional government of Castilla-La Mancha activated a level 1 emergency alarm on account of the smoke plumes, warning that the toxic cloud could affect people living in the vicinity of the tyre dump. A local school was closed as a result of the warning.
