The grand opening of the Linn County Fair in Central City, Iowa, was disrupted on June 28 as attendees were forced to take cover when a tornado touched down nearby.
The tornado ripped through Prairieburg, injuring one woman after her garage collapsed, The Gazette reported. Trees and power lines were also felled in the area.
