The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for areas along the Lake Ontario shoreline on Tuesday, June 13. Communities in both New York and Ontario have been impacted by flooding due to the high water level in Lake Ontario.

New York Governor Cuomo visited two upstate New York communities heavily impacted by the flooding of Lake Ontario. During his visit, Cuomo toured the installation of a temporary dam to prevent further flood damage.
