Anti-fascist demonstrators turned out in Liverpool’s city center on June 3 to counter an English Defence League march and celebrated as it was successfully blocked.
Reports said scuffles broke out between the EDL and counter-protesters, who appeared to outnumber the EDL marchers significantly. Police were on hand to control the crowd.
