Veteran CPM leader and former Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan did not attend the first anniversary celebrations of the Pinarayi Vijayan government on Thursday. VS opted to stay out of the function for not inviting him officially for the function and for providing the entry pass given to MLAs to him, it is learnt.
ഇന്നലെ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നടന്ന ഒന്നാംവാര്‍ഷികാഘോഷ ചടങ്ങുകളില്‍ നിന്നും വിഎസ് വിട്ടുനിന്നിരുന്നു. ക്യാബിനറ്റ് പദവിയുളള ഭരണപരിഷ്‌കരണ കമ്മീഷന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷനെന്ന നിലയിലും വിഎസിന് പ്രത്യേകക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. എംഎല്‍എമാര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കിയ പ്രവേശനപാസുകളില്‍ ഒന്നുമാത്രമാണ് വിഎസിനും നല്‍കിയത്. ചടങ്ങില്‍ ഔദ്യോഗിക ക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലെന്നും പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നില്ലെന്നുമാണ് വിഎസിന്റെ ഓഫിസില്‍ നിന്ന് നല്‍കിയ വിവരം.
