In the wake of the recent @ttack that took place at the Manchester Arena in England, the Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI) on Tuesday wrote to International Cricket Council (ICC) expressing concern over the safety of its national players heading into the Champions Trophy, beginning June 1 at the Oval, England.

ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടില്‍ അടുത്ത മാസം തുടങ്ങുന്ന ചാംപ്യന്‍സ് ട്രോഫി ക്രിക്കറ്റില്‍നിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യ പിന്‍മാറാന്‍ സാധ്യത. മാഞ്ചസ്റ്റര്‍ ഭീകരാക്രമണത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് സുരക്ഷാപ്രശ്‌നം ഉയര്‍ത്തിക്കാട്ടിയാണ് ബിസിസിഐ ആശങ്ക അറിയിച്ചത്. ബിസിസിഐ ട്രഷറര്‍ അനിരുദ്ധ ചൗധരിയാണ് ഐസിസിയെ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആശങ്ക അറിയിച്ചത്. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആശങ്കയോട് രണ്ടുമണിക്കൂറിനകം ഐസിസി മറുപടി അറിയിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആശങ്ക തള്ളിക്കളയാനാകാത്തതാണെന്നായിരുന്നു ഐസിസിയുടെ പ്രതികരണം.
